Railway jobs are the jobs which are done in Indian Railways Department. The recruitment of railway jobs are conducted by RRB or Railway Recruitment Control Board. It is a government organization in India. It was set up in 1998 in the Ministry of Railways.
TYPES OF RAILWAY JOBS:
There are various types of Railway jobs. Divided into Technical and Non-Technical division. They are further categorized in four groups, wiz: GROUP A, GROUP B, GROUP C, GROUP D. Group A and Group B which are the Technical groups in which job posts are technical some of the prominent ones are: Indian Railways Personnel service, Indian Railways Traffic Service, Indian Railways Store service, Indian Railways mechanical engineer, Indian Railways Electrical engineer etc.
As for the Non-Technical department there are various jobs. Some of the prominent jobs under the Non-technical department are: Ticket collector, Junior engineer, Clerk in train, Clerk of typist department, Maintenance engineer, Junior accountant assistant, Senior supervisor, Commercial clerk, driver etc.
As for the NON-TECHNICAL department one has to attempt the RRB exam followed by the interview etc. As for the Group D jobs one must have completed the 12th standard in any stream from a recognized Education board with a minimum of 33% marks.

Such as for TECHNICAL Department one has to possess a minimum qualification of Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with a minimum percentage prescribed therein and have to pass the Civil Services and other Entrance exam whichever is prescribed for the post.
