What is Climate Change and How does it affect us?

The Climate Change is a phenomenon that affects the regional and global climate. The primary factor that causes the climate change is the burning of fossil fuel, which emits carbon dioxide and other greenhouse into the air. In this article, we have discussed about the concept, causes and affects of the climate change.

The Climate Change is one of the environmental issues that challenge the future of human life on the Earth.

What is Climate Change?

The term “climate change” is often used to refer specifically to anthropogenic climate change. It can be defined as the long term climate variation due to the ascending of the average surface temperature on the Earth for at least a few decades, and maybe for millions of years. It is a phenomenon that affects the regional and global climate.

Global Warming Vs Climate Change

We often use global warming and climate change as synonyms, but there is much difference between both the terms. The global warming is an increase in the average temperature of the earth’s atmosphere, whereas the climate change is a resultant of the global warming.

What causes climate change?

The primary factor that causes the climate change is the burning of fossil fuel, which emits carbon dioxide and other greenhouse into the air. Deforestation is also one the factor in climate change because it contributes to the proliferation of greenhouse gases.

The solar energy determines the equilibrium of the climate and temperature on the Earth. This energy distributed around the Earth by winds, ocean currents, and other mechanisms affect the region as well as the global climate. If the flow of energy gets disturbed for at least a few decades, and maybe for millions of years due to the emission of greenhouse gases, then it will disturb the equilibrium of temperature and climate and finally the issues like climate change arises.
